Blogging Resources for Moms

Lyrical Host: I use this one for my website hosting. I switched to Lyrical Host after a year of using GoDaddy and I absolutely love it. There are so many things I love about Lyrical Host, but most of all I really appreciate how down-to-earth and hand-on the founders are.

You will find these two founders, personally answering and solving tech issues in support groups of blogging.

The best thing about this hosting is that you have an option to pay month by moth rather than for a whole year. It doesn’t have hidden charges, especially on renewals. They have a very good support system and they do everything for you, you just have to pay!

So, if you want to start with a hosting program that’s fast, reliable, and cheap you can join Lyrical Host. Plus on purchase you get free resources every month. Use my code to get 10% off your purchase: UMM10

Tailwind: is a must -have tool for your blogging in any niche. I am a huge fan of tailwind since the time I signed up for its free trial account. This is one of those must-have investments you can actually be able to boost your blog traffic quickly.

Pinterest is an incredible way to grow your blog traffic and monetize your blog. Tailwind lets you schedule up to 400 pins per month, and with the new Pinterest algorithm, it covers for 2-3 weeks!

It also comes with access to Tailwind Tribes (like Pinterest group boards) which gives you another chance to promote and the new smart-loop feature, which makes old and forgotten pins never die out on Pinterest. Join Tailwind now for free and check it yourself.

Namecheap: Namecheap is an excellent option for those who want to start a blog, but their budget is low. I use them basically for my domain service. Although they do have a hosting plan and is incredibly good. Your domain costs as low as $8 for .com through Namecheap.

WpForms: I use WP Forms for my “Contact Me” page and it’s free. But they do have payment options for some more complicated forms if you want to add them to your website. Since I didn’t have anything complicated on my website I’m currently on their free version. This plugin is great, give it a try!

Mailerlite: Mailerlite is what I use for my emailing service. It is Free p to 1000 subscribers and 12,000 emails per month. This is enough for new bloggers. I changed my service from Mailchimp to Mailerlite as it is a lot better. I can easily provide free downloads to my readers, design customized pop-ups, embedded subscribe forms, even the landing pages which surprisingly are free (most of them). Their support system is also great!

Shareaholic: This is a plugin I personally use for social sharing. Some claim that it can slow down your site, and yes, it is pre-designed to run ads on your site but if you remove all these options in the settings, you get an amazing plugin with social sharing icons to post on other networks.

Bluchic: This helps you build beautiful WordPress sites. If you are looking for a great feminine theme and are ready to spend a little money on something customized and unique for your blog, Bluchic is a great place to start. I use Maggie theme from Bluchic for my blog.

Blogging Resources: Courses For Mom Bloggers

Pinterest Strategies: Another of my favorite and tried course that helped me grows my Pinterest. This Pinterest Strategies course by Carly Camphell is an info-packed, authentic, and budget-friendly course on how Pinterest works and what strategies you can implement to grow your blog through Pinterest.

From teaching how to make amazing pins to learning the algorithm of Pinterest, this course is all you need. Plus, you get a lifetime access to all the updates. Isn’t it great?

Easy On-Page SEO: I highly recommend Debbie Gartner’s On-Page SEO book is the SEO book that every blogger and business owner needs to read.

Here, her focus is on attracting organic traffic to your website through on-page SEO optimization.

Basically, on-page SEO is everything that you can do to improve your website, from within your website. This course is easy to understand and implement. I have had a great success with this course and I really recommend it to my blogging Babes.

Legal Bundle For Blog: This a complete legal bundle to secure your site and save you from any penalty. These are super easy to use templates for all of your legal pages created by Lucrezia, a blogger who is an international lawyer as well.

These are FTC+GDPR+CCPA compliant templates to protect your blog legally in less than 1/2 hour.

I absolutely love this bundle pack because it includes all of the important pages that I needed and it took all the work I had to do myself for my blog. Lucrezia explains everything you need to do and it’s simple to use.

How to start a profitable blog: If you’re new to blogging world, I highly recommend taking this course from Lucrezia and make money blogging within 6 months!

This is the best course to gain access to all of the best tips and strategies from an experienced blogger.

Blogging Resources: Paid Stock Photos

Ivory Mix: I signed up for Ivory Mix for free photos every month and since then I loved it. The most important reason is the amazing stock photos she offers. It’s just not this; there are so many blog and social media courses, live webinars and so many Canva templates.

The point is, you don’t have to spend so much of your time creating or editing your own templates. This all is available in the VIP membership. Join Ivory Mix, or if you want you can just sign up for free stock photos every month for free!

Blogging Resources: Free Stock Photos

Pexels: Pexels has a huge selection of free, no-attribute high quality stock photos, including lots of flat lay photography. I personally use these on my blog apart from the paid stock photos.

Styled Stock: Styled Stock focuses on creating feminine stock images. This is my second choice. If you’re looking for some great quality feminine pictures for your blog or Instagram, this is your weapon

Pixabay: Pixabay has stock photos which are mostly landscape than flatlays as well as illustrations and vectors. They have HD quality photos and no attribution

Unsplash: Unplash is another one of my favorite. Their tagline says “beautiful free photos” and this is absolutely true!

Blogging Resources: Time saving and Productivity Resources

Grammarly: this is the world’s best Grammar Checker! This is a website where you can check your written text for errors and polish your writing using given suggestions for improvement. What’s the best part? It’s free!

I don’t have to spend hours on my text wondering if I missed a mistake. I just upload my post or text on the website or use their add-on extension for chrome. Grammarly checks and corrects the mistakes by giving suggestions.

Evernote: I love this free app. I have been using Evernote, even before entering to this blogging world. Whenever I had to instantly save something, or just write it down, I quickly opened Evernote and jot down things.

I still have text written years ago within my email I used to register. You  can create separate notebooks, create checklists, set reminders, use tags and share your notes with other users.

Blogging Resources: Design And Graphics Resources

Canva: Canva is my go to for graphics designing and I love using it. if I want my photos edited, I upload them to Canva and pick a layout or start from scratch.

It’s free and you can design almost anything in it. I basically use it for my Pinterest pins, Facebook posts and creating checklists.

You can upgrade to Canva pro, which gives you a brand palette and you can upload extra fonts, add team members, and get free stock photos.

Creative MarketCreative Market is a great place to search for graphics, fonts and pictures and has stock bundles, which are often on sale as well as fonts and vectors. Particularly good if you want to do logos design and have different graphics than the usual templates. They also have loads of graphics and fonts for really low price.

Creative Market has free weekly goodies after a free sign up like great collection of pictures, fonts, and graphics. Sign up for Creative Market and get 6 free downloadable items every week!
